Ever since I was a lad at school I wanted to fly. I was in the Air Cadets and enjoyed the opportunity to be thrown around the sky by ex-RAF pilots. I also had a flight in a Harrier when I was at Uni, but it is only now at the age of 37 that I find myself financially able to take it up properly and go for my PPL. This blog tells that story...
